The Sales Team GCC and corporate is in charge of selling room, F&B and events functions in the complex. In order to deliver the expected numbers of the budget; the team members need to effectively communicate all relevant information to all departments within the hotel and must ensure this information is understood and service is delivered as per our high service standards.

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Builds the department top line revenue by adhering to sales strategy guidelines set forth by the Director of Sales & Director of Sales & Marketing. Identifies revenue opportunities for the hotel based on the event profile.

  • Meets and exceeds individual revenue goals. Effectively manages customer budgets to maximize revenue and meet customer needs, and identify opportunities to up-sell products and services throughout the sales process.

  • Exceeds company minimum standards with the ShopTalk sales process and acts as a mentor for others within this area.

  • Understands the overall market in which they sell - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.

  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, etc. Conducts customer site inspections

  • Excels at proactive selling. Targets key accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation. Proactively identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals. Focuses on accounts with larger potential sales revenue.

  • Main Focus – GCC – Gulf Cooperation Council (Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, State of Qatar, State of Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain) with secondary focus on Levant Countries – Lebanon, Jordan and Syria.

To move into this position you should have

  • Tenure in current position minimum 3 years

  • Experience in similar role as well as managing people

  • Experience in GCC leisure and corporate

  • Good command of the English and attention to detail skills, must be well spoken and with a strong presentation skills, Fluency in Arabic language is a must .

  • Working times will be as per office hours however successful candidates will be required to work additional hours to meet the demand of our business and the clients
