Job Summary

  • To assist and support the Spa & Recreation Manager in alloperational procedures and codes of conduct as set down by the management andto promote the recreational facilities and services.

  • To ensure the smooth running of the recreational facilities andrepresent the interests of the company at all times.


  • To assist in instigating and maintaining all systems in the recreationalfacilities.

  • To ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in theprescribed manner.

  • To ensure that the facility is adequately manned at all times.

  • To assist for a proper induction and training of all employees iscarried out.

  • To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughoutthe facility at all times.

  • To ensure that the Health and Safety Policy is adhered to and the systemsand procedures are maintained at all times.

  • To attend senior management meetings in both the recreational facilitiesand hotel as required.

  • To assist for oversee the recruitment, induction, training, development,appraisal and discipline of all recreational facilities fitness and Pool staff.

  • To instigate regular meetings with both the fitness staff and Pool staffto motivate and be aware of staff needs and aspirations.

  • To set a standard at all times in professionalism, appearance andattitude as expected of all recreational facilities personnel.

  • To receive training to ensure that all-relevant legislation pertainingto the health and safety of working with children is maintained.


  • Current CPR & First Aid certification


  • Must have at least 24 months experience in the luxury hospitalityindustry.

  • Experience working with children in an activity environment.
