Position Title Quantity Surveyor, Dubai

As a Quantity Surveyor you will provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile and exciting key commercial, corporate and residential clients.
Feasibility estimates, cost planning (presenting with no supervision), contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering and commercial awareness, fee generation, dispute resolution, post contract management (competent in cost reporting).
Drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process.
Work on projects of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors and appropriate problem solving.
Manage projects effectively using APIC, Pinnacle/ePMP and other appropriate management systems/protocols.
Be aware of and develop marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department, in order that they may assist in following up potential leads enabling the development of new business.
Specific Skills Required:
High level of literacy skills in English. Arabic speaking considered a benefit.
Good working knowledge of FIDIC contracts or similar.
Good working knowledge of CESMM3/4.
Excellent working knowledge of industry practices.
To be a team player on a major project.
Knowledge of cost planning techniques, budget management and change control.
Ability to present confidently.
Ability to act with discretion and safeguarding confidentiality of project data.
Astute financial management and control of project resources.
Computer Literate, with specific experience in Cost Management software programs.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and establish priorities for the timely completion of work.

Problem solving/lateral thinking skills.
Significant experience in the Commercial Market with experience and training within a PQS business.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience with large scale projects.
Infrastructure projects is essential
Communication and formal English language skills are considered essential.
- Ideally Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification and hold Chartered status.
