Vubiquity Marketing Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving Affiliate engagement through development and execution of turn-key marketing tactics, ongoing communication and improvement of best practice presentations. The candidate will work closely with Affiliates, Studios/Content Providers, and internal stakeholders to develop campaigns and stunts that create buzz and maximize revenue potential for both TVOD and SVOD content. This position will also play a supporting role for a variety of marketing programs, including data analytics and research.

  • Maintain strong relationships with Strategic Affiliates and Studios, requiring recurring status calls, title avails and asset management, problem resolution, etc.

  • Create methods and tactics for providing additional and improved support for National Affiliates

  • Create and maintain checklists and templates for marketing solutions, including but not limited to email marketing, social marketing, radio scripts, cross-channel spots, etc.

  • Handle full stunt management, for both TVOD and SVOD content, including stunt themes, title selection, administration, tracking, and reporting to Studios.

  • Create annual webinar calendar and topics, including research and presentation development.

  • Contribute to and help maintain best practice presentations.

  • Support Sales with customer marketing/promotional content development.

  • Develop strategies for partnership growth. This may include concept generation, execution of promotions and coordination of value-added opportunities.

  • Provide support to VP Content Promotions for additional special projects as needed, following leadership/direction and providing implementation/execution.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Programming, Finance, Sales, and Operations, as well as external Affiliates and Studios.

  • Collect and analyze campaign data, synthesize results and identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve performance.

  • Maintain industry knowledge with relentless research into new digital trends, platforms and experiences and use that knowledge to drive strategy.

  • A solid understanding of content and wider VoD & OTT industry, along with more specific, regional knowledge.

  • At least 3-5 years of VoD marketing experience, or similar.

  • Strong project management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic & English (any additional laguages a bonus), and the ability to communicate across functions and at various management levels both internally and externally.

  • Solid business judgment, including strategic analysis and conceptual thinking.

  • Working knowledge of digital media distribution (with exposure to OTT) and understanding of business challenges and opportunities across multiple business segments.

  • Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and some HTML coding.

  • Must have Microsoft Office, including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
