Responsible for the operational excellence of the organization, sustaining & growing the existing business
Defining the commercial, sales and marketing strategy for the Middle East and Africa region
Drive business growth by enabling and leading a highly-effective commercial / Sales team
Responsible for the developing and implementing a strategic road-map based on the agreed strategy for MEA region
Develop / hire a world-class commercial and Sales team
Responsible for earning customer trust through solid execution – establish win/win partnerships and deepen relationships.
Monitor, analyze, and understand market activities to continuously update the business on all region dynamics including in-depth competitive assessments.
Drive Commercial process improvements and leverage CRM tools for growth
Develop teamwork, demonstrating shared goals and values. Provides leadership guidance & support to all staff in the area. Enables the team to ensure staffs are recruited, trained & motivated; develops appropriate succession plans
Lead and motivate a team of sales & commercial professionals to solicit new business and / or retain and penetrate existing business in order to drive growth.
Oversee operations plans & monitor progress report weekly/monthly/annually for all the portfolios to plan & aim to achieve or exceed the business target
Ability to develop and execute on growth plans while meeting short term business objectives.
Review & track progress against targets; analyses reports; recommends & implements any changes to existing plans & operating budgets
Manage business performance of partners and map partner capabilities and priorities with C&D Technologies goals and strategies; drive quarterly business reviews with key partners.
Complete responsibility of regional P&L
Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology or related discipline
MBA will be considered as added value
+15 years’ experience in Sales / Management / Leadership in a multinational company with an understanding of global reporting.
Strong track record in Middle East & Africa with various sectors; utilities, Telecom, Industries and Oil & Gas.
Business need to expand regionally with strong institutional set of processes, talents and culture to drive expansion an entrepreneurial spirit – able to make breakthroughs coming up with new ideas / motivate the team / a “fighter” capable to move the company to the next level
