Summary of the job:
The Commercial Operations function within Janssen aims to be a trusted business partner to our internal teams by providing actionable, customer-focused insights that lead to a competitive advantage.
The Commercial Operations Manager (COM) has a key role providing the Commercial Board with actionable strategic recommendations, derived from integrating insights from Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial.
Duties & Responsibilities Business Analytics, Sales Force Sizing:
Supports the internal stakeholder in the sizing and geographical allocation of the Field Force in the territory by providing specific analyzes and simulations, using dedicated tools and programs
ü Supports the internal stakeholder in developing projects and methodologies to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales force.
Sales Force Target setting, Performance Management and Incentive Systems
Along with Commercial Board, develops targets for commercial teams and tracks underlying demand including volume evolution, patient recruitment and key accounts consumption.
Coordinates the process of defining the Field Force incentive system and supervises the process of calculating periodic incentives, ensuring the production and accuracy of the data needed
Along with Commercial Board, develops volume rolling forecast for key products in all countries and sectors.
Forecasts inventory, tenders and discounts per country and key brands monthly.
Leads and coordinates financial submissions as Business Plan, Mid Term Plan and regular financial updates ensuring timely and accurate inputs from commercial, pricing, supply chain and finance organizations.
Bachelors degree in business, economics or science.
Advanced knowledge of GCC pharmaceutical industry/environment including distributor model, tender environment and market dynamics
Previous experience of at least 2 years in a managerial role in strategic marketing or sales is preferential
Knowledge of the reference regulations of the conduct of market research in the pharmaceutical field
Knowledge of the main statistical analysis packages (Minitab)
Basic knowledge of advanced reporting applications (eg Qlik)
Strong leadership skills, able to work on a matrix organization
Knowledge of the Office Package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
Financial and business planning acumen
Project Management skills
Advanced skills in analysis and interpretation of sales and market data
Knowledge of procedures, policies and regulations concerning pharmacovigilance, with reference to market research
Synthesis and Public Speaking skills
Excellent command of the English language
