Job Description / Information
To develop and implement long term business development strategies focused on the deployment of Automated External Defibrillators and other products in the Workplace and Community market sector. Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, first aid training organizations and specific industry organizations alongside in-situ distributors together with current dealer managers with the goal to increasing market awareness, creating demand for Stryker products and maximizing market share.

What you will do:
As a Stryker Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities as well as maintaining existing business. You will interact and develop strong relationships across a diverse group of customers and markets including Direct and Indirect Distribution Channels. You will develop and leverage a close working relationship with KOLs in diverse market segments including but not limited to the Health,Transportation, Sports, SME, Corporate, Industrial, Leisure and Education sectors. You will be required to conduct product demonstrations and training for clinical and lay persons. You will be responsible for reporting on your sales activities on a regular basis.
The successful applicant will be required to live within the defined territory and involves a significant amount of travel.
Full product and sales training will be given, in addition to ongoing coaching and personal development. Stryker, provide all new starters with a comprehensive induction and on-boarding programme.
Key Activities & Accountabilities (mandatory field)
Main duties and responsibilities; emphasize the end result against which some measure of performance can be applied.
Market mapping of current market awareness, product provisioning and competitive landscape
Develop country-by-country long term strategic plan and identify key country prioritization in target region
Evaluate current distribution partners on effectiveness in driving go to market strategies and delivering on strategic plans
Investigate alternative or additional distribution options to ensure adequate geographical and market sector coverage
Develop strategies to create market awareness and demand in alignment with the marketing plan and local sales organization
Develop tools to estimate the Out-Of-Hospital-Cardiac -Arrest rates
Complete product registration mapping and identify priorities for new product localization
Distribution/Referral partner and end user training to support sales generation
Planning, executing and monitoring the strategic plan to include individual interaction wiith KOLs and private enterprises to deliver on individual and territorial sales targets
Achievement of personal sales quotas where applicable
Act as a mentor to more junior members in the team, deliver training etc.
Act as subject matter expert, a benchmark of best practice within the company
Take broad perspectives to identify solutions to business problems
Works independently, with guidance only in very complex situations
Degree level qualification preferably in a science/engineering or business related field.
Languages requirements: English essential, Arabic desirable.
Knowledge of Cardiac Resuscitation (CPR & AED use)
Must have a solid grasp of the business area with specific expertise in developing nascent, slow growth or early stage markets.
8-10 Years Successful sales and/or marketing experience essential, with a substantial amount within Medsurg industry.
Market development/business development experience, with a substantial amount within Medsurg industry.
Proven distributor management experience
