PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Guarantee accurate and qualitative brand image at POS according to brand guidelines throughout the Middle East, Levant, India & Africa region. He or she also ensures the highest VM integrity of all the institutional brand guidelines and requirements are upheld.
Contributes to the development of the Dior brand market share and regional sales through the effective creation, design and implementation of visual elements within the beauty boutiques and counters in alignment with the brands visual identity and strategy across the 3 axes.
Ensure clear definition of visual merchandising project scope of work and ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within specified budget and to the required brands high quality standard.
Ensure consistent control over quality and regional implementation of VM guidelines, with the understanding of the brands creative guidelines and direction.
Provide detailed planograms for new door openings and provide support to all markets in the region for the successful VM implementation of their animations and local market activities.
Facilitate communications between Regional & Central Visual Merchandising teams to align on brands VM direction and make new VM proposals to suit regional market requirements and specificities.
Support new market and new store openings with timely brand VM implementation and support.
Monitor the brands regional animations, window setups, displays and trade activities and collate as monthly VM market report and share with all internal parties.
Design and produce creative POS elements in accordance with the brands merchandising guidelines to optimize brand visibility and increase ROI throughout the region.
Conceptualize and present all VM displays and Animations for multiple regional retailers with approval of Central VM team and regional parties.
Provide designs, plans & technical specifications to external suppliers to obtain accurate quotations for each VM project/assignment.
Challenge suppliers in terms of quotation costs, delivery deadlines, quality of execution and negotiate the terms and conditions to ensure brand image is not compromised at POS.
Work with multiple suppliers to achieve maximum efficiency while working within project budget constraints
Work with capable suppliers (local & regional) ahead of installations to ensure accurate application of VM designs, technical specifications and highest possible quality production.
Ensure review of project quality execution during production are completed by giving constructive feedback to suppliers as necessary.
Ensure the successful implementation of VM projects, consistent with details and exacting standards of Dior brand guidelines through site supervision and picture updates.
Travel within region to assist, wherever budget and scope allows, for new counter installations and direct merchandise, with local teams, the entire space. This includes installing VM elements, ensuring visuals are placed correctly and finishing
Conduct regular regional market visits, with Architecture Manager, to review and propose additional VM branding or visibility opportunities on counter or within store environment.
Ensure local VM representatives correctly install and implement merchandising displays before and after new builds according to the merchandising guidelines.Profile
4- 5 years' experience in design and/or VM related environment required preferably in retail/luxury cosmetics industry.
Strong communicator that possess leadership qualities and the ability to communicate and negotiate with all levels of staff effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Strong knowledge and relevant experience of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office softwares i.e. Power Point, Word and Excel essential.
Relevant experience and knowledge with 3-Dimensional design softwares E. Sketchup and 3Ds Max essential.
High levels of creativity and aesthetic sense, ability to understand and defend the brand DNA
Strong knowledge of the luxury and cosmetic market and of retail environments is a strong asset
Knowledge of distribution channels and of all aspects linked to Merchandising in this environment
