Schneider Electric Sales Director - Gulf in United Arab Emirates

Responsible for managing and leading a multi-functional sales team across an assigned geography.

Sets and establishes key sales objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinate managers and senior sales staff. Sets and executes the regional sales strategy.

Selects key and managed accounts and manages the success of the assigned team through focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsible for pipeline management and sales productivity analysis.

Reviews analysis of sales volumes and potential and develops strategies to minimize negative trends as well as address future business needs in relation to sales, support, resources and training.

Leads regular forecast calls and meetings with regional sales management to ensure quarterly consistency of bookings and successful implementation of strategic growth objectives, in accordance with established targets.

Effectively manages and monitors direct reports through the establishment of individual performance goals and objectives and regularly reviews performance against objectives. Creates a motivational atmosphere where employee contributions are valued through effective regular communications. Supports the development of staff. Sets clear metrics and manages the company approved incentive programme.

Personally responsible for certain Key Accounts and acts and Executive Sponsor. Takes the lead role in large strategic deals and displays leadership, vision, and determination in meeting and exceeding quarterly targets. Acts as a coach and leads by example in this area.

Establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work-plans and performance requirements.

Responsible for assessing account and market opportunity against current resourcing model. Adds required resources to capture identified opportunity against a pre-established ROS KPI

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
