The Regional Project Architect guarantees accurate and qualitative brand image according to company guidelines through all point of sales of the Middle East, Levant, India and Africa region: 600 POS amongst 24 agents and 33 countries and ensures the integrity of all the institutional brand requirements.

Reporting to the Regional Architect Manager, the Regional Project Architect contributes to the development of the Dior market shares and sales in the region through the creation, design and build of counters in lines with the brand strategies across the 3 axes.



  • Produce a creative point of sale design in accordance with the merchandising charter in order to optimize brand visibility.

  • Be responsible for the designs and scale models of any new counter build. These to be validated by Central Merchandising.


  • Provide project plans, technical specifications and designs to obtain costings.

  • Challenge and negotiate the terms and conditions to ensure brand image is not compromised as well as budget and deadlines compliance.


  • Work with local suppliers ahead of installations to ensure accurate application of designs, technical specifications and highest possible quality production. Once installations are complete, review the quality and processes giving feedback to suppliers as necessary.


  • Ensure through sites supervision and updates the successful implementation of ongoing projects, consistent with details and high standards of Dior.

Follow Up

  • Visit Stores and counters regularly before and after new builds to review and propose additional branding or visibility opportunities and ensure the merchandising display is proper and according to the merchandising guidelines.

  • Follow up on the result of modification/maintenance works which might have impact to VM policies/guidelines.

  • Architect with a retail design background

  • Experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry (mandatory)

  • Softwares: Autocad, Sketchup, Microsoft office packages, Adobe Suite

  • Excellent working knowledge of furniture and materials for counter builds

  • Strong sense of Design and planning

  • High levels of creativity and aesthetic sense

  • Ability to understand and defend the brand DNA

  • Knowledge of distribution channels and of all aspects linked to Merchandising in this environment

  • Result orientated

  • Team player

  • Knowledge of French language is an advantage but not essential
