Position

Drive Middle East retail business by efficiently:

  • Build and motivate retail teams

  • Manage local HO team (Clienteling, Operations, Admin support)

  • Manage all operational aspects of a retail network (retail excellence, merchandising, process optimization, …)

  • Develop clienteling approach in and out of store

  • Identify and seize all opportunities for network expansion

  • Build a network of partners in local market and department stores.

  • Be fully accountable for the region P&L

Driving business performance

  • Build sales forecast and budget for Middle East retail stores

  • Monitor sales performance to propose commercial action plans to maximise sales and minimise costs

  • Monitor operational expenses with full P&L responsibility

  • Pilot Budget and 3-year plan exercises

  • Identify growth opportunities in local markets

  • Liaise with local shared service for HR and Finance issues

  • Participate in the open-to-buy process with Europe & Middle East Merchandising team

  • Develop open relationships and collaborate transversally with Paris HO teams

    Operations

  • Follow up of daily store operations. Propose optimisation to improve service level and time spent with clients

  • Follow up on retail excellence programs

  • Liaise with internal & external partners to solve issues related to deliveries, stock, IT, maintenance, security

  • Ensure quality of internal control and inventory management (inventory, cash management, internal procedures)

  • Build strong and highly communicative relationships with department stores

  • Plan and execute store openings, expansion plans and relocations

    Team Management

  • Coach Store Managers to drive teams so as to achieve sales targets and growth

  • Conduct full appraisals with direct reports / clear objectives to the retail team

  • Participate in recruitment, store organisation, team development and general HR issues

Clienteling

  • Ensure strong client mindset within the team and obsession for client satisfaction

  • Develop deep understanding of client base and support SMs in local initiatives to grow / increase loyalty of local clients

  • Propose HO teams with action plans to develop local clientele

  • Develop personally community of influencers and brand ambassadors in key cities

TO HAVE

  • Strong managerial skills (8 to 10 years of retail network management) and business sense.

  • Experience in a luxury retail environment

  • Excellent communications and team management skills

  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills

  • Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus

  • Knowledge of the region is a strong plus

Must have a strategic long-term vision of how to build and expand the brand while respecting and protecting its core values. Need to set right priorities to ensure timely execution of strategy.
