Job Purpose:

The job holder responsible for the operation of the branch, some of the key responsibilities include;

(i) developing and sustaining an excellent model;

(ii) Assure that all mandated Branch Controls are in place and are reviewed timely;

(iii) creating and ensuring that there is an effective sales model in place performing at optimum levels.

Accountabilities:

  • Be a proactive customer service leader and able to emulate and decimate skills downwards.

  • Managing cash operations in an efficient and compliant manner

  • Effectively liaise and support all other divisions of bank to meet key business drivers.

  • Gradually transition branch banking into being an investment center offering need based products.

  • Drive an efficient lead generating mechanism to refer prospective Citi Gold, X Sell cards and loans and explore FX opportunities for walk in customers.

  • Ensure effective recruitment and development plan are in place.

  • Ensure compliance, check and controls are in place.

  • Take an active role in social work and community development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Experience/ knowledge:

Technical Know-How

  • High sales dive and energy levels. Ability to thrive in a high - pressure environment by demonstrating clear leadership ability.

*Ability to nurture and build strong relationship with customer.

*Either prior experience with investment products such as Mutual Funds Insurance, equity or ability to learn and understand these products quickly to be able to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Excellent teamwork skills in order to cater to the varied investment understanding and support requirement of internal customers (Relationship managers) and external customers.

  • Basic analytical skills required to comprehend research and performance reports and to interpret them to offer most suitable products for customer profile.

Qualification:

Bachelors in Banking, Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.

Experience:

5+ years preferably in the financial services industry
