As Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall
supervision of the Reservations team & strategically managing the room
inventory to maximize revenue & better market performance. Job
responsibilities are performed in accordance with the standard policies and
procedures set as per the company guidelines but he/she exercises a
considerable amount of independent judgment in carrying out assigned duties and
responsibilities. Your responsibilities include:
To ensure thehotel meets revenue targets.
Organizing &managing room reservation activities.
To generate newbusiness for the hotel & being aware of selling all services.
Analyzing dailypick-up, forecast trends and devising marketing & revenue managementstrategies under the guidance of the Revenue Manager.
To actively seekall sales and revenue opportunities both internal and external to increase theprofile of the hotel.
To work alongwith the Sales & Events teams to maximise occupancy of rooms, drivebusiness & increase market performance.
To develop strongworking relationships with all guests & clients in order to maximise salesopportunities and generate business for the future.
Maintain highlevel of knowledge about our competition and their product offerings.
To understand theconstruction of Budgets & Forecasts and how to influence profit and lossresults.
To ensure thatbilling and credit agreements are managed and controlled.
Control roominventory to maximize revenue and ensure smooth operation of the reservationdepartment.
Maintain andmanage hotels PMS and ensure that accurate information and data are entered bythe reservation team.
Maintainingproper balance between the hotel’s online system & Property ManagementSystem, so that accurate availability is shown at all times.
Drive andincrease hotel system performance and visibility as appropriate.
Ensuring compliancewith occupational health & safety standards as per the company guidelines.
Reflecting thecompany’s environment friendly vision and encouraging & supporting teammembers on the Green Engage program.
Adhering to thePCI-DSS standards while handling sensitive credit card information.
Adhering to theFire, Life, Safety rules & regulations & report any potential threats.

Bachelor's degree/ higher education qualification, 4 or more years of experience in Reservations department
