Duties and Responsibilities
Practice aggressive hospitality and useSuggestive Selling techniques when taking guest’s order.
Effective time management skills.
Help the department to achieve to revenuetargets.
Be thorough in knowledge of the Hotel,services offered, operating hours of all F&B outlets, etc.
Schedule servers for breaks, etc. inconjunction with the supervisor and depending on business volume.
Pitch in and help in service whenever theneed arises.
Check in servers and other associates foruniform.

Have an excellent knowledge about the city,the signals, methods of transportation, etc. in order to be able to conversewith customers, give helpful suggestions, etc.
Have an excellent knowledge about wines anddifferent items on the menu in order to be able to help guests, answer questions,and give other suggestions.
Handle all guest complaints as per instructions and procedures.
Report any guest complaints, comments cardto the Supervisor / Manager.
To maintain highest level of cleanliness,including safety of furniture, fixtures and fittings.To ensure the correct ambience is created
To promote awareness of health and safetywithin the department for associates and guests.Example fire alert points, exits,extinguishers, table clips etc.
Responsible for all further reservation madeduring the evening, whether for same or other dates. Extreme care and accuracyof all details is essential to the proper function of the room. To avoidneglect in recording each reservation prompt entry into the reservation book isextremely important.
Use of correct tact, good manners and mature

Previous experience workingwithin Food and Beverage Department or similar environment preferred
