As the recognised industry leader, BD’s Pyxis Supply Solutions, Dispensing, Medication Management System Business Unit is seeking a Supply Automation Solution Manager responsible for setting the Supply Automation Strategy for the region and supporting pre-sales activities including customer presentations and solution configurations, implementation support, and post-sales system and customer practice optimization. This role will require 70% travel and flexible working hours are required, including nights and weekends. Key features of the role include:

  • Provides support for sales, field implementation and marketing teams that support Pyxis Supply Solutions.

  • Provides pre-sales work flow analysis of existing processes within the Supply Chain. Identifies current areas of inefficiencies, waste, lost revenue, and safety concerns.

  • Performs work flow redesign with identified automation solutions to facilitate achievement of best practices. Identifies potential financial value of supply automation (Value Analyzer).

  • Provides consultation as to positioning of Pyxis Supply Solution products to support efficient workflow and current and anticipated clinical needs.

  • Performs follow-up Supply Chain System reviews to determine system optimization and customer value realization.

  • Guides customers post-installation in evaluation of current system practices, develops action plan to assure system optimization and facilitates successful implementation of action items.

  • Identifies customers who demonstrate best practices and works with them to produce testimonials, white papers and peer-reviewed published articles and presentations.

  • Identifies and shares clinical best practices to help achieve the highest possible levels of cost reduction, compliance, efficiency, and safety.

  • Collaborates with Customer Service Operations teams to coordinate installations of supply automation.

Educated to a degree in Nursing or Pharmacy degree preferred with IT background. you will have a minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in an acute care hospital environment, experienced in perioperative or procedural areas and a deep understanding of Hospital IT automated inventory system is important. Your strong, leadership skills will be evident in your achievements, as will your strategic thinking, planning and organisational capabilities. In addition to excellent all-round communication and influencing skills at all levels, A strong team player, strong on business acumen and negotiation, you’ll have:

  • Experience managing technology and automation products with advanced computerized systems preferred.

  • Experience using, installing and/or supporting automated inventory management products.
