Sheikh Zayed Road with over 568 rooms, 13 international restaurants and bars,

and has one of the largest meeting, conference and banqueting facilities in the

UAE.

At

the moment, we are looking for Sales Executive- Conventions to join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly Sales Marketing

team at Crowne Plaza Dubai .

As the Sales Executive - Conventions , you will serve

as the key contact for Corporate, Leisure and Government Clients. Ensure all

requirements of the clients/bookers are met. Follow the revenue sales and

marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure that sales goals can be achieved.

Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage through direct

client contacts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL RETURNS

  • Implements all sales actionplans related to the marketing as outlined in the Marketing Plan

  • Achieve budgeted revenues andpersonal/team sales goals and maximise profitability.

  • Promote and produces salesleads for other hotels of the InterContinental Hotels Group

PEOPLE

  • Manage day-to- day salesactivities, plan and assign work to the Sales Coordinator

  • Disseminates sales relatedinformation to other departments, establishes and maintains effective employeerelations

  • Actively participate intraining and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development

GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Provide guests with information(example: loyalty programmes, area attractions, restaurants, facilityinformation) to enhance guest experience

  • Develop and maintainrelationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce groupand/or convention business, to include room sales, food & beverage sales,and catering/banquet services

  • Schedule conventions and/orbusiness group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel leveldepartments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office andprospective clients

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

  • Develop awareness andreputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community

  • Demonstrate understanding andawareness of all policies and relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety

  • Comply with the Company’sCorporate Code of Conduct

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree / higher education

qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field, and minimum 1 year of

experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting, or an

equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must speak local language.

Other languages preferred.
