Thisposition is responsible for creating an outstanding first impression. It isimportant to provide positive image of Ramada Hotel and Suites Sharjah from thestart by greeting the guest over the phone and provide them with an overview ofthe facility as well as a comprehensive description of the room types that willfit their need to increase our revenue. Works to ensure maximum efficiency andguest satisfaction. Promotes the desired work culture around the five corevalues of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the Ramada Hotelsand the brand ethos.
•Answerinquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and traveldirections, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, orentertainment.
•Greet,register, and assign rooms to guests of hotels or motels.
•Keeprecords of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
•Verifycustomers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for theaccommodation.
•Recordguest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.
•Reviewaccounts and charges with guests during the checkout process.
•Computebills, collect payments, and make change for guests; make and confirmreservations.
•Transmitand receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards.
•Contacthousekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.
•Issueroom keys and escort instructions to bellhops.
•Postcharges, such those for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgersmanually or by using computers.
•Advisehousekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
•Cleanand maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies and wateringplants.
•Arrangetours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers.
•Performbookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightlyaudits.
•Depositguests' valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes.
•Date-stamp,sort, and rack incoming mail and messages.
•Plan,schedule or supervise the work of other employees.
