MISSION :

Reporting to the Regional Director, you develop the commercial activity of CMA CGM in the Gulf and Horn of Africa area, while coordinating pricing and maintaining the strong reputation of CMA CGM in the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You develop the commercial activity of CMA CGM in the Gulf and Horn of Africa area while coordinating the pricing for the region in liaison with the Trade Managers and respective Lines in Head Office.

You develop and maintain the necessary marketing tools in order to improve market knowledge and interactions between agencies. Moreover, you manage ‘regional’ tenders, supervise GA/IFF performances with support of dedicated assistants, as well as keep direct contact with our top clients.

You supervise and monitor agent’s sales and marketing activities by ongoing contacts, visits and regular reports as well as monitoring service performances.

You prepare the commercial budget with the respective agency Sales Managers and report and analyse commercial performances on a monthly basis.

You maintain solid relationships with Line and Trade Managers; you detect shipping opportunities and participate to the studies of new deployments.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

You have a postgraduate degree (+5 years) in Business, Management or Logistics as well as over 10 years of professional experience in maritime activities in Head office or an Agency.

You have a strong drive, full autonomy, leadership and negotiation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

You possess structured management skills as well as a strategic vision and strong analytical skills.

You speak fluent English; you are proficient in computer tools and you have a good command of CMA CGM’s IT tools (LARA etc.).

You are able to make yourself available for frequent travels.
