IBM Pre-Sales Client Technical Professional - Gulf and Levant in DUBAI, United Arab Emirates
The role is to technical presale IBM Security Software solution and to take responsibility for the quality and success of the technical sales activities within Middle East and Pakistan region, as member the MEA Security Technical team . It requires strong technical and industry vertical experience, as well as good practical ability to give clarity and constancy to the sales cycle. There is a need to be able to provide technology advice to the sales team, to assist in developing new business opportunities and to help enable IBM business partners, and other IBM Business Units.A necessary part of the role is to assist in developing account plans with the country sales teams. This role also requires the effective articulation of IBM Security product positioning. To have the ability to bring experiences to bear in competitive situations, within the sales cycle, to help close the opportunity in a timely manner, and to demonstrate IBM Security competitive advantages to prospects. The role requires interactions with larger IBM Security teams and to assist field marketing at trade shows and seminars.The ideal candidate must- Be an effective and focused member of the MEA (MEP) Regional IBM Technical sales team by being able to articulate the business value of IBM Security technology, by being able to demonstrate the solution set in a clear and unambiguous way, and by helping to close deals in a timely, accurate and quality driven way as required to meet sales goals.- Assist in the sales cycle at any level of where technology expertise or market knowledge may be required- Present or demonstrate the various IBM Security Solutions in line with the expectations of a prospects, customer, direct sales team or partner sales team.- To help the sales team to build strategies that identify potential opportunities, clarifies the message and helps build pipeline for the sales team, as well as to take the opportunity to help identify up sell or cross sell opportunities.- Provide technical responses to RFP/RFI/ITT and being a presales technical resource for the IBM Security sales force and to assist in giving guidance on technology matters.- Report and be actively involved in feeding back information of forecasted deals and projectsAble to develop industry domain knowledge and expertise of the market places IBM Security is active in.- Be capable of installing and configuring the various products sets as needed to support the needs of the sales engagement.- Be actively involved in developing and maintaining presales skill sets.- Provide useful feedback to IBM Security Product group around product enhancement.- Be able to present to a prospect/partner or customers.- Able to actively support problem resolution by effective communication with the Lab developers.- Inform existing customers, partners and the IBM Security sales force of new product development and new product/ solution strategies.- Have an understanding of IBM competitors and their products.Support IBM marketing group in their activities.- Capable to proactively learn new IBM security solutions and its components. 5 Years Technical Sales Experience, 10 Years Experience in a IT Technical Field, Bachelors Degree, Deep understanding of at least 2 IBM Security Solutions, English SpeakingExperience in IBM Security IRP Portfolio (3 Years)
