At the moment, we

are looking for an ELV Technician to join

our enthusiastic, warm and friendly IT team

at Crowne Plaza Dubai .

As a n ELV Technician , you

are accountable

for the provision of audio visual services for the hotel and the day today

support of the hotel ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) systems. You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality

and welcome are demonstrated at all times within IT Department.

The Key Responsibilities are:

FINANCIAL RETURNS

  • Give support in ELV related fields effectively in order tomaximize the business value and hotel revenue.

  • Support the day to day business with key internal and externalrelationships.

PEOPLE

  • Ability to accomplish any task by working collaboratively withfellow colleagues within or different departments.

  • Build a good relationship with fellow colleagues in differentdepartments and solve their technical issues with the ELV systems.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to understand guest needs and solve them immediately byasking assistance of the Supervisor, Manager or Asst manager if required.

  • Interact with guests in a professional manner and ensure that theguest expectations are being met.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

  • To give support and prioritize any ELV problems impacting eitherhotel revenue or guests.

Qualifications

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Communication skills acting as a vendor liaison, and work closelyand interacting positively with colleagues within and other departments.

  • Strong technical skills covering a broad range of Electronicsystems.

  • Good team player in team work.

  • A collage diploma in telecommunication, electronics or a relatedfield

  • Hotel experience in audio visual operation and the experience in functionaudiovisual setups, Micros (POS) and TV head end systems.

  • Familiarity with telecommunication standards and PABX

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English well. Any otherlanguage(s) is an asset.
