Job Description / Information
Directs and coordinates daily service operations within Eastern Europe - Middle East - Africa region for the repair, warranty service, Field Actions and service contract sales for Stryker Medical - Physio-Control products (Resuscitation and Patient Care/Handling). Develops and manages external service providers; accountable for financial objectives and customer service expectations for the region, whilst possibly working hands-on. Works closely and collaborates with various departments and groups, including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and related industry groups.
Ability to communicate strategic view of the business and industry, leveraging a host of resources to help grow the business and improve operational efficiencies.
Lead and motivate external service companies and distributors to achieve business targets, improve efficiencies, develop selling skills, increase productivity, and build sustainable customer relationships.
Develop, execute, and manage business strategies within a region to meet/exceed financial (budget, forecast, revenue/expense) objectives. Create and define business growth opportunities in support of financial objectives.
Establish objectives, compose and conduct performance reviews and monitor progress toward objectives.
Regularly interact with customers including: Fire Chiefs, Paramedics, Municipal, and Hospital personnel, etc.
Manage, audit, and track regional performance, including fulfilling customer obligations, quality and compliance requirements, adherence to corporate policies and procedures, FDA recalls, customer satisfaction, inventory levels, and team member utilization.
Coordinate, gather and analyze statistical data relating to repair trends and other service related activities.
Provide exceptional customer service; ensure customer satisfaction is achieved when resolving customer/product issues and complaints.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum five (5) years experience as a technical consultant servicing electronic, biomedical electronic and/or equivalent equipment.
Fluent in English and ideally Arabic.
Experience in the Medical Device Industry.
In-depth understanding and knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations.
Prior experience using Salesforce.com, ServiceMax or other CRM system.
