Office, Warehouse, Operations Manager
The Regional Hub Manager will oversee daily operations, with a primary focus on the Dubai hub, by facilitation, planning, and analysis of tangible and intangible assets. This individual will manage the Dubai-based operations staff to include but not limited to sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory, supply chain and engineering technical support, IT, HR, finance, and operations. The Dubai Manager will manage the 3rd Party Logistics Contracts to ensure performance is in line with APR requirements.
Oversee daily operations, performance, and development of the Dubai team
Directly manage 3rd party logistics activities to ensure adherence to contractual requirements while supporting them with critical requirements from within APR business. Audit processes as needed. Ensure quarterly business reviews are held.
Interface with local vendors to manage performance and support them with critical requirements.
Maintain a detailed project specific priority tracker which is in sync with APR Jacksonville priorities.
Serve as a lead between Engineering, Project, and supply chain teams obtain/relay critical intel so the Dubai office can better execute against established budgets and timeframes.
Support the Global Directors with ongoing dynamic responsibilities as they are identified.
Assist in developing training material and SOP’s for all functions to improve the team members’ overall business and technical comprehension, which will allow them to perform their jobs more efficiently and accurately.
Support expatriates travel and accommodations in Dubai and in the office to ensure positive productivity during travel.
Responsible to track technical issues/solutions/response time to develop KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) so issues are better documented and mitigated for future scenarios.
Travel up to 20%
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with business and management skills, or
Or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or International Business or Logistics with technical knowledge and capacity preferred
Master of Business Administration is a plus
5+ years’ experience in a management
Experience in power generation industry preferred
Experience in mechanical/electrical equipment sourcing, purchasing, warehousing or shipping preferred
Experience managing contracts, general contractors, and 3rd party logistics providers
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
English proficiency required
Computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel and Power Point required
Ability for creative and abstract thinking for problem solving and solution proposal.
Ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty.
Excellent organization, task, and time management skills.
