Scope of the position:

The Country Leader will drive the business in Middle East with a balance of strategy and execution to achieve double digit profitable growth He should be able to collaborate well with functional leaders across MEIA territory to drive the business. He/she will be based in Dubai, UAE.

The Country Leader will motivate and lead the regional team of sales, service and sales support employees, and oversee all customer-related activities in both Direct and Distribution Channels in the region, in compliance with all sales and service management processes.

Main responsibilities:

·Overall responsibility for full profit and loss of the region. Develop strategy to grow business across aa the countries in the ME region in all areas - direct, distribution and service sales - to expected level given the maturity of the countries industries.

·Develop country strategy and business plans with support from Territory Leader. Understand, localize and implement market & distribution strategies as well as enterprise growth opportunities within appropriate levels of authority.

·Manage all operational costs through regular financial review. Oversee country inventory levels. Act as escalation point for country with regards to customer issues and dispute resolution.

·Oversee all PR and Marketing activity within country with support from Marketing where appropriate.

·Recruit, develop, motivate and manage the performance of the country team in line with corporate policies and processes. Identify, manage and develop top talent in line with corporate policies and processes. Reward and recognize the team in line with corporate policies.

Qualifications:

·Technical or Business Master’s degree, with 15 to 20 years of work experience and a proven track record in sales management – preferably mix of distribution and direct sales – in the region of ME.

Competencies

·Previous experience of managing teams of sales and service people, ideally including remote teams across cultural boundaries. Good level of negotiation skills at all levels

·Previous experience of working in a matrix management and collaborative environment

·Knowledge of Compression products and markets is preferred, experience with similar products and markets is mandatory

·Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiatives within Ingersoll Rand framework. Strong growth and people orientation.

·Written & oral fluency in English. Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the region.
