At

the moment, we are looking for a Conference& Banquet Coordinator to

join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly Sales team at Crowne Plaza Dubai . As Conference & Banquet Coordinator, you will fully support the conventions team

with administrative tasks, customer service and receive, qualify and hand over

sales leads to the respective Conventions Manager and Director. Specifically,

you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest

standards:

  • Identifynew contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order tomaximize revenue

  • Understandfully the hotel amenities, packages and promotions

  • Generateand develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build businessrelationships

  • Producequotations and written confirmation to all clients

  • Produceaccurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director andsenior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made andbusiness leads

  • Monitorcustomer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensurefuture business.

Qualifications

To successfully fill this role, you

should possess the following:

  • Previousexperience in events and conventions

  • ExcellentEnglish communication skills

  • Excellentgrooming standards

  • Highlevel of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Proactiveapproach to meeting deadlines and targets

  • Excellentorganizational and administration skills

  • Fostercollaboration within the team and other departments

It

would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following

capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previousexperience in a events function and reservations

  • Relevantdegree, in a sales or business discipline, from an academic institution

  • Femalecandidate preferred
