Job Description:

Under the guidance andsupervision of Cluster Director of Human Resources Manager and within thelimits of established Hotel policies and procedures, participates in activitiesof the Employee Housing Department. Promotes the desired work culture aroundthe five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of theRamada Hotels and the brand ethos.

Responsibilities:

  • Create an environmentin which both external candidates and employees experience the Ramada andWyndham Commitment

  • To conduct dailyinspections of all Accommodation including inside and outside areas to ensureproper cleaning and maintenance, i.e. Flats, recreation rooms, sports facility,laundry rooms, and TV room.

  • Employee Care; executeand implement the HR/Housing processes

  • Follow appropriatefiling and data retrieval systems in order to ensure ease of access to up todate information at all times

  • Maintains and updatesfiles on legal documents and other Housing matters, efficiently andconfidentiality

  • Maintains records ofaccommodation/apartment contracts and follow up with the owning company forgetting and timely renewal of contracts.

  • To record water andelectricity consumption in the Accommodation buildings at the end of eachmonth, and to bring to the attention of the CDOHR any irregularities and/orexcess consumption.

  • To ensure the timelyremoval of sewage.

  • Sorting out team memberdisputes related to accommodation.

  • Taking monthlyinventory and informing CDOHR and Finance department on losses.

  • Constantly coming upwith suggestion and innovative ideas to solve day to day problem and to cutcost on unwanted expenses.

  • Monitor the safety,security, fire support, evacuation plans and coordinate with the Engineeringdepartment with concerns if any.

  • Registering theaccommodation/apartments with the government bodies such as DEWA, LandDepartment, etc.

  • Spot checks on a weeklybasis for all Employee Accommodation buildings and action any further follow upissues (i.e., noise complaints, obstruction of common areas, etc breach ofAccommodation Rules & Regulations)

  • To liaise with thewatchmen and security guards in monitoring the visitor register and visitinghours.

  • Maintains effectivecommunications at all levels of management and team members

  • To allocate accommodationfor all team members, permanent/temporary. This will encompass the movementin/out of personnel daily

  • Updates rooming list onweekly basis and submits to Human Resources.

  • To create departmentalbudgeting and control inventory.

  • Conduct inventorycontrol for all employees checking out of Accommodation and charge accordinglyfor any missing items

  • Ensure that Welcomebasket is ready and room is prepared as to standard for new arrivals

  • To allocate rooms inaccordance with the accommodation entitlement and policy

  • Responsible forrevising all inputs to accommodation policy

  • To maintain 100%accurate records of room and bed allocations by name, position, employment areaand contact details

  • Close liaison with HRwill be required for team members’ incoming and outgoing

  • To advise HR on billingcharges monthly. These will include cross charging for food, Water/Electricity,etc.

  • To keep a record of allfurnishings and equipment for every room. An accommodation report to be raisedmonthly

  • To attend at least oncemonthly the HR/Housing meeting to brief on accommodation matters

  • To maintain forecastaccommodation requirements for 2 months in advance

  • To control of allequipment ensuring all is serviceable and advise HR on improvements or issues

  • To report to HR anylapses in discipline

  • To be responsible forall security and fire equipment, signage and action

  • Ensure signage isappropriate and meets Health & Safety requirements

  • Ensures all teammembers facilities are maintained in good order and meet Ramada & Wyndhamcleanliness standards

  • Ensure the operation ofthe Cafeteria is running smoothly

  • Deals with all problemsrelating to individuals in an understanding, caring and confidential manner

  • Ensures that allGovernment Regulations are adhered to

  • Responsible for theday-to-day management of accommodation

  • To oversee everythingand make sure the accommodation is managed effectively and all operations arerun in an efficient manner. Effective management involves maintaining hygiene,health and safety standards, supervising and training team members and dealingwith budgetary matters.

  • Responsible forplanning duty rosters, facilitating training and development sessions andoverseeing performance management and employee welfare initiatives.

  • Ensure high standardsof cleanliness and hygiene are maintained and to make sure all operationscomply with health and safety regulations

  • Manage and advice onrequired contracts

  • Respond to and manageemergency situations

  • Responsible forscheduling periodic maintenance and repair work

  • Contributes towardsregional activities as directed

  • Coordinate sports andactivities in team member accommodation as directed by Human Resources

  • You may be asked toaccomplish what is requested by the Cluster Director of Human Resources and theCluster Human Resources Manager.
