The Cluster Director of Marketing is there to ensure the hotel is very well positioned in the market and to carry out a comprehensive marketing activity in all corporate and travel houses.

TRYP by Wyndham is a select-service, mid-priced hotel brand located in key urban markets throughout North America, Europe, Central America and South America, including Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Frankfurt, New York and Buenos Aires. Hotels cater to all travellers with accommodations suited for different travel needs: the Premium Room, designed for business travellers; the Fitness Room, equipped with exercise machines and complimentary ‘Fitness Kit’; and the Family Room, complete with bunk beds for kids and a larger bed for parents.   • This is a cluster role where the Associate is responsible for two properties.

  • The production of the overall annual revenue plan, budget for the hotel, incorporating an action plan strategies in order to ensure that the objectives of marketing plans are achieved.

  • To prepare the marketing plan of the hotel with the coordination of hotel management team.

  • Follow competitor’s activity and advice the management accordingly.

  • Make sure the hotel is exposed in the international Hospitality media and regular press release is sent, whenever event is happening at the hotel.

  • Introduce new Marketing programmers and it mode of operation, including PR, Advertising Strategy.

  • Recommends to G.M as appropriate, and coordinates all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes the analysis of the changing market trends, advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations.

  • Keep a regular contact with local media and use the leverage of the PR Communication

  • Plan/carry out/local and international marketing activity to agreed budget and timescale and integrate team sales effort with other departments marketing activities, egg Food and Beverage promotion, telemarketing etc.

  • Make sure the hotel rates are updated in major distribution channels and of course to all travel agents and tour operators.

  • Recruit, manage train and motivate direct reporting marketing staff according to company procedures, policy and recruitment law.

  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations.

  • Establish and maintain files on major hotel accounts.

  • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the marketing department.

  • Communicate with the advertising company and ensure that product is delivered as per the highest standard and on time.

  • Recommends to General Manager direct mail campaigns to reach specific markets.

  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel locally and internationally and major marketing areas through sales solicitation, telephone contact and written communications.

  • Maintained and develop corporate image and reputation and protect and develop the hotel brand via suitable PR activity and intellectual property management.

  • Plan and manage internal communication and awareness of corporate direction, mission aims and activities.

  • To make sure all hotels promotional materials are updated and merchandised in relevant areas and customer outlets.

  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this great opportunity it is essential that you have the following skills and attributes:

  • A bright, personable and outgoing and out-of-the box Marketing/PR Director

  • Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a similar role

  • Experience within the Hotel industry is a plus

  • Understanding of how to execute creative marketing campaign across multiple platforms including social media

  • Must be Computer Proficient and particularly skilled in MS Word, with knowledge in Graphic Designing, Photography, Videography, Digital Marketing & Social Media software

  • People management / organizational skills

  • Excellent writing skills and speaking ability

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects effectively
