Job Outline:

  • Provide Bid/CST with financial information and QAing the bids prior to submission
  • Ensure and monitor project contract compliance
  • Preparation of Management deck for the monthly management meeting
  • Billing cycle
  • Invoices and support of the Accounts Receivable function in reporting and collections
  • Submission of all expat contractor payroll information to Finance Support team and monitoring host country payroll information.
  • Preparation of the P&L; & explanation of trends and variances
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Maintaining and reporting balance sheet items including reconciliations (Fixed-Assets/Bank reconciliations/Pre-Paid/Deposits and Accruals)
  • Monitoring and reporting on Cash Flow forecasting
  • Petty cash, consolidation of cash ledgers and cash requests (expense reports)

Accountability:

The Business Partner, Finance is accountable to the Regional Finance Controller for their responsibilities stated in this job description. These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through the mid-year and annual performance review and supported through the monitoring of their KPIs.

As directed and delegated by the Regional Finance Controller

Competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including understanding of pivot tables, macro’s, etc;
  • Advanced knowledge of other MS Office systems, such as Word and PowerPoint.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years (min) experience in a Finance role within a multi-country environment;
  • Must be ACA, ACCA, CMA or CIMA (or equivalent) fully qualified
