The Analytics Platform Leader for Middle East and Africa will lead sales, services and marketing activities and act as the focal point to the client and IBMers for IBM Analytics.
The position will entail taking the existing software and services analytics practices and bringing them together as a focused Analytics Business Unit in Ireland.
The role will require managing key client relationships at CXO level, understanding the client's organization and culture, and developing strategic plans to address both IT and line-of-business organizations.
The successful Analytics professional will be a subject matter expert and thought-leader providing value to our clients.
This role will build relationships with senior client executives while earning a reputation as a trusted business adviser.
Responsibilities: The role encompasses these key elements:
Leading the Analytics organization throughout Middle East and Africa
Leading a team of highly skilled software and services sales professionals focused on selling IBM Analytics solutions to solve business issues and deliver value to our clients
Leading a team of highly skilled analytics delivery professionals focused on implementing, supporting and training IBM Analytics solutions to solve business issues and deliver value to our clients
Creating a strategy to bring together Analytics in Ireland into a single Business Unit and drive significant growth across all areas to ensure IBM Analytics is Number 1 in the Irish marketplace
As an IBM Analytics Leader the individual will lead by example; be a role model; inspire the sales team in driving a culture of sales eminence / excellence and deliver client value.
Responsible for driving the IBM business objectives and sales strategies, in meeting revenue targets through leadership and collaboration with all levels of the organization, locally and internationally, and within prescribed global policies and processes.
The Analytics Leader will be seen as the Subject Matter Expert, and therefore needs to stay abreast and research topics relating to the industries services, and be able to present on such topics at IBM and non-IBM events / conferences where necessary.
Identify gaps in services process or opportunities for improvement and work with team to adjust or implement net new process as needed
Establish partnerships across cross-functional teams
Proven track records on closing large Analytics deals.
Extensive knowledge of Analytics domain within Ireland
Subject Matter Expert with finger on the pulse of all new analytics solutions, practices and developments
The professional should have exposure or expertise in Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Performance Management, Enterprise Content Management, Big Data, Data Governance and Management, Risk Analytics, GRC.
Proven people management skills.
Experience in building and leading a team in a multi-dimensional corporate organisation
