Job Description

The Simulation Analyst’s role is to perform duties related to modeling and simulation in support of exercises and training for the U.S. Military and coalition partners and ensure the stable operation of computer networks. This individual will plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. Additionally, the applicant will support the operation of various computer networks. This includes planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring maximum availability. The applicant will also diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and support where required. Applicant must be a US Citizen and be able to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of training support events. The analyst must be capable of learning new systems as they progress through the evolution of training devices. This includes but is not limited to simulation drivers that are currently in use in the JSST Training environment. This position requires an ability to interface with the government customers and provide basic direction for co-workers.

BS degree and 4-6 years of experience. Basic computer skills, military experience, and air defense experience is required.

A SECRET security clearance is required.

Experience with Windows OS, Solaris/UNIX OS, Networking, and Reconfigurable Table Top Trainer (RT3) is preferred. BS degree in engineering, computer science, or physics is desired.
