Join us as a Telephone Operator and support our dynamic Front Office Department at the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi.

As a Telephone Operator, you will support the Assistant Front Office Manager in the managing the hotel’s daily guest service center activities.

Under the general direction of the Assistant Front Office Manager and within the limits of established by InterContinental Hotels Group and local policies and procedures, you will provide the guests with all aspects of telecommunication services to achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction.

You will be the main communication point of the hotel by providing and coordinating a rapid response to all guest requests, inquiries and needs, as well as assigning work orders to appropriate personnel. In order for you to identify and anticipate guest needs by ensuring complete guest satisfaction - answers all calls within three rings, using the guest surname at least three times throughout conversation.

You are responsible of the inputs of all guest requests promptly and accurately into the QEMS rapid response system and monitoring all calls that are on queue and answers as per brand standards.

It’s required to log all guest complaints into QEMS and guest history for future reference, tracks trends in service deficiencies and reports them to senior management.

You will be completing the beginning and ending shift duties that include turnover shift report, outstanding jobs not completed in QEMS and any other daily, weekly and monthly reports required by senior management.


Ideally, you'll have relevant educational qualifications with minimum one year similar work experience in with excellent communications skills, written & oral proficiency in English.
