We are looking for a PPR TENDERING ENGINEER (After Market) with 2 to 4 years' experience. Please apply only if your profile fits the job description by contacting the local HR.
He will be responsible for the coordination and support of the tender needs of the Company’s customers and Sales team in order to meet the objective of the Company’s overall business plans and strategies.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Acting as main contact for all tender related activities in nominated countries.
Supporting Spare Parts, Retrofit Tenders and project management for Retrofit.
Evaluate customer requirements to ensure Sulzer is able to satisfy customer needs in terms of product, timing and pricing.
Support the Sales Managers and Engineers by timely submittal of professionally prepared tenders.
Responsibility of supporting the specific objectives of the Sales plan with regards to the assigned functional areas, liaising with the relevant department of the Company.
Ensure that effective client contact , relationship building and management processes are in place to positively influence the client and create a predisposition to view Sulzer as preferred source of supply.
Ensure application of Sulzer sales and commercial policies , procedures, codes of conduct and best practices guidelines.
Prepare tender and support overall tender process.
Ensure that hand over documentation is completed, enabling the smooth transition.
Maintain open tender database, ensuring that SPME sales forecast and best prospect list are provided to schedule.
Attend sales meetings and ensure that all relevant information is available for the sales teams
Participate in and actively support company initiatives
Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact.
Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
All other duties as relevant to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Degree in Engineering and /or relevant experience within related industry
Experience of dealing with complex tenders
Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment
General computer skills
Perfect command of written & oral English language
Technical competence with related Industry and role
